Those are two guys I was interested in.
I like Latta as a 4th line, PK guy and he is only 25 I believe. Both guys seem like low risk/possible high reward types. |

Hey Bill,
Do you think they might invite Vladimir Kuznetsov from the Q. He went undrafted and I think I saw on Twitter that the Flyers interviewed him during the combine. |

The Flyers had 2 mill at each parade and have fans all over the world but the Philly media consider hockey to be minor in Philly. Their beloved Sixers have struggled historically to draw 10,000 fans and had 4,000 at a playoff game. The Phils have always drawn between 12,000 to 17,000 fans except for the years of new CBP and the championship. The Eagles and Flyers have always been consistant with attendance. |

Yes, but other teams may have interest, too. |

I had mentioned pirri last year as a Trade deadline option for low cost high reward. Could he be a third line answer if read is dealt? Or is weal slated to compete for that role ? |

Why will he be an upgrade to the 4th line? |

I think he has more skill then guys that are there now. Good skater. Takes draws. kills penalites. 25 years old.
I thought white played well but I think Latta would add more speed but still give you that gritty play and probably at a cheaper cost. |

I think Weal will have a chance at camp, especially if Read is moved. But if he's not, they'll probably expose him to waivers for AHL assignment. |

I also wouldn't mind getting Latta at say 775k for a year compared to maybe White at 1million or more.
Latta is also only 25 so he could be a replacement for Bellemare moving forward |

Add Drew Shore to the list of unqualified RFAs that are worth looking into. |

He could also beat out Laughton who does not have to be exposed to waivers. Who I personally believe could benefit from every role 20 Minutes a night in ahl before coming back to nhl |

There are a couple guys this year that would interest me. Possible low risk/high reward types. And I thin since the Flyers are still kind of rebuilding that they could have opportunities in the bottom 6. |

Latta has not killed penalties the last two seasons. |

Yes. Laughton is still on his ELC and is waiver exempt. Final exempt season.

I'd put Laughton on the wing on the 3rd line and leave him there. |

Our third line is more of a 4th line since we use our 4th to shut down opposing teams top lines. We are going to have a pretty good phantoms team this year Laughton a natural leader could go down for half a season to full season help some the younger guys transition and refine some his little issues that kept him from being effective. |

Hmm, interesting.
I'd be leery of putting him in the AHL. At this point, I have to wonder if his confidence is on the verge of breaking. He's been up and down a bit, has missed some time with injuries (thought he was paralyzed by Carlson), and seems like he needs to nail down a spot. I don't need him scoring 20 goals or winning the Selke, but a permanent spot held down in the middle-6 seems like a legitimate goal. |

If he plays 55 games for the Flyers this season, he will no longer be exempt |
