It's too late to get into an "if this, if that" debate. If we can get fair value we should absolutely explore trade options, but we shouldn't even be considering giving him away.

Moving Kane at this point would be incredibly stupid, especially dumping him for nothing. I'm the first one to criticize his immaturity, and want him to clean up his act, but he hasn't been convicted of anything, and he makes our team better. Dumping him one year after giving up so many assets for him makes no sense.

If he's trouble in the locker room it becomes more of a consideration. But I'm just basing off what I know. From what I know he's a dumb kid that needs to stay out of trouble. I don't care that he likes to be flashy or comes off as arrogant, if he stays out of trouble and plays decent hockey that's all I need.

The quote from Daly after expansion was made official is that there is no amount of cap that teams are required to expose. Only that Vegas has to draft at least 60% of this years cap. It was only ever rumored that teams would have to expose a certain amount of their cap. But these are the official rules:

Completely agree.

The Evander Kane deal is what it is, I don't feel right punishing someone merely based on an accusation. Is it troublesome that he's been accused of more crimes in his short time here than he has highlight clips? sure. But its ultimately up to the team to decide what to do with him. And if i'd have to guess they've gotten to the point where if they can get any sort of reasonable return on him they're cutting him loose due to the mass amounts of speculation and trade rumors out there.

Us going over the same lines of dialogue for 2 weeks isn't going to impact that.

I'm still trying to figure out why some here think the Sabres need this kid to succeed, I'm sure he's a good player. If it works out great if not, we move on, it's not the end of the world if we don't sign him.
