I don't think so. I think the contract is standard. The only other thing the Sabres can do are bonuses.

And by the way, I believe 0 words of what any GM, agent, player says until it actually happens. Marc Bergevin said they weren't close to a Subban deal, then after he was traded admitted the idea of a Weber/Subban deal came up around the same time he said they weren't close.

As of this morning Murray and Vesey agent are not on speaking terms. Vesey agent hung up on Murray during a call. They were trying to get his agent in town to work on things, his son (the agent) had a baseball game, Murray told him this is more important than your sons game. Agent immediately hung up and things are now on the rocks. Hopefully Vesey doesn't care about his agents personal preference.

Barrie for Trouba makes 0 sense for WPG. They already have 2 offensive RD making big money other than Trouba
