But you do say those kinds of things, " oh my god I will lose it if he signs with the Leafs "or " I will never watch them again if we don't get this player" it's always drama with you on every player that you like or the Sabre have interest in. Let it go, if we get Vesey then we get him if not, move along to someone else.

We can pass judgment on this kid ( me included) all day long but the bottom line is, he will sign where he feels works for him best. You can't demand top 6 minutes when you never played a game in the NHL.

How about if Vesey doesn't sign here within say the next 10 days, we trade his rights and Kane to say Colorado for Landy? Then go get Nash to fill in until Nylander has developed more and becomes bigger/stronger.

I feel a lot better about moving Ennis &/or Girgensons if we were able to sign Vesey.
If we can swing that trade w the AVs for Landy & Barrie,
I'd be so incredibly psyched
