RE: Juolevi….I hope they get him signed sooner than later so we don't have to worry about that for the rest of the summer. |

I really hope they don't rush Juolevi and let him develop further in London. Talent aside, he needs to put on weight and muscle mass if he is going to be an effective defenseman in the NHL. |

Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks Extend G Richard Bachman, No Contract Yet for Juolevi
The Vancouver Canucks solved an expansion draft challenge on Wednesday when they inked minor-league goaltender Richard Bachman to a one-year contract extension, but a contract has not yet been signed with top draft pick Juolevi, as the rest of his class inks their deals. - Carol Schram
no contract yet - Obviously OJ is a disgruntled prospect who doesn't want anything to do with Vancouver. Trade the bum.
Sounds like he is not the only one...
Cue the OJ for Auston trade rumours! |

I do that as long an Van throws in a 2nd. At this point, it's looking like a 2032 2nd. |

Same, too much a risk to trade for a player that may pull the same sh*t with us. |

Yeah makes sense. Juoleivi will be closer to London which is his 2nd home. Matthews: Vancouver to Arizona is a quicker flight then Toronto to Arizona, plus there is no jet lag. You might be on to something here. |

Thanks for the blog Carol...not sure why you would stay up all night following a loser game like gulf...
Just kidding Lefty...I know there are a few rich guys on here that can afford the game, I'm just not one of them...
So who the hell is Vessey and how the hell does he get to dictate what team he goes to? Is he supposed to be superstar material or just another Justin Schultz that thinks he's too good for the team that drafted him? |

Look where his eyes are pointed. Both Shanny and Lou are giving him the thumbs up behind the photographers. |

Matthews having that much issues in Toronto? - Retinalz
Is it actually possible that Lamoriello is playing hardball with Matthews? if so, great way to disenfranchise a kid who is supposed to be the savior of the club. Regardless of what's really going on, I think Lamoriello is a bit of a dinosaur and isn't well suited in terms of being a key in a rebuilding role. The dynamics in the Toronto market are substantially different than was the case in New Jersey, where he had complete autonomy. These days it is clear that athletes dictate and hold the cards in most negotiations and I think Lamoriello's 'my way or the highway' approach is an archaic concept. |
