I tried to read "The Road" and got about 75-80 pages in and just couldn't read it anymore. It was so bleak, and dry, and depressing. Which is very unusual for me. That's only the second book ever I haven't finished. "War and Peace" being the other one, and I read probably, on average, a little less than 2 books a month.

Some people's skin reacts weird to both spray tanning and beds. My cousin is very fair skinned and he, stupidly, went spray tanning like 4 days before his wedding and was orange; like he was the Syracuse mascot orange. Thankfully it faded to like Texas Longhorns orange by the wedding, but it was still bad. And he went to a decent place and paid a fair amount of money. It was like 10 years ago, so I don't remember where, or how much.

We drove from Miami to Key West. Had the windows up all the way with the A/C blasting because it was so hot and by the time we got there he was burned so bad on his arm he blistered that night. Just like a 4 inch square from his elbow up; through the window that has UV protection! Going out in the sun was not an option.

She wasn't thrilled, but calmed down because it faded enough by the rehearsal dinner. He just went the once, that was the one and only time he went. A few of us tried to warn him off because we knew some people don't react well to it, especially those who are very pale, but he went anyway.
