Lehner is not the answer in net. Assuming they know that and will be looking to add an actual starting goalie at some point in the next year or so. Lots of young talent on that team but they need a true #1 goalie and many defensive pieces to become contenders.

Didn't Pittsburgh just win that big shiny thing with a backup goalie? These true number one goalie narratives are puzzling.

On top of that the only thing in my mind that keeps Lehner from establishing himself as a starting goalie is his health.
We will see what a full summer of rehab and working out with do for him. If he played that well on an ankle that was 80% I am very excited to see what he plays like with an ankle that's 100%.
