Nice to see so many of the players are staying in Vancouver over the summer, especially those with things to prove or spots to protect/fight for. It shows that they aren't going to rest on their laurels and even if they don't work out for us, it'll make them that much more valuable as trade chips/expansion unprotectees. |

"Who do you want? Someone who at least is open about what he really thinks or feels or someone who is so polished that you never know what their agenda or real feelings are. I'd take the former ten times out of ten" Darius Knight.
So you would rather vote for someone that is openly racist, bigoted, misogynistic and a sociopath just because he's honest about being one?
Whatever you say about Hillary, she is not a megalomaniac narcissist who constantly spews hate and fear and puts down African Americans, Mexicans, Muslims, LGTB, Women, the disabled, and even war veterans. If there is anyone that I wouldn't want to have nuclear access codes it would be Trump. Despite the massive amounts of comedic fodder, the guy is one scary individual |

No, you just have someone that would throw the country wide open, completely remove or else water down completely the vetting of immigrants, believes in Obamacare (which has been shown to be a horrible idea that doesn't do anything to give people more access to healthcare), who's advisors were all her husband's old cronies, who wants to tax and spend as bad as the NDP governments up here have done and who has a husband who will be the shadow President behind her. Sure, she's definitely not a loudmouth moron like Trump, but don't kid yourself, she's just as bad if not worse.
As I said also, I don't think either will win, this is going to be the first US election in history where someone gets elected either via the write-in or else a fringe candidate like the Libertarian candidate. People do not want either Hillary or Trump and aren't going to settle for the 'lesser evil' when there really isn't one in this case. |

Please stick to hockey convo or at least get educated. Barring a death, one of those two has to win, they don't have legitimate alternative parties. |

Agreed.
Although part of me agrees with Jim Jeffries when he says. "Let's go for it... let's see how f&%$ed up things can get."
It's honestly our best hope of seeing Jon Stewart make a full time comeback. |

well at least if trump DID somehow manage to get in it would be advantage Canada...
our dollar would improve as theirs sinks and the removal of the NAFTA wouldnt even help USA but would help canada greatly as we got screwed by it. Less people will invest in an unstable country and invest here.
silver lining for us if that idiot gets in. |

Around 80% of our trade is with the US, we can't change that overnight. Trump would be very bad for Canada. |

while Im usually on the same opinion side as this theres nothing new canucks wise to talk about. Its been that way so long we have nothing left.
Suggest something perhaps.
...so greens comments on the up coming talent was interesting. He seems to truly know what he is doing and how to make a change in a player. Exactly what we need in that way |

Man Marner is small. 164 lbs...
I'm excited to see Juolevi play after all his talk about trying to make it to the NHL. Not expecting him too but I can imagine he's got a lot to prove. |

I liked what he had to say about Subban. The guy works hard and is positive all the time. That is a recipe for success. He could be a solid player if he keeps it up.
Pedan imo is ready to make the next step to become a full time NHLer. I really hope we don't lose him. I have high hopes for him and I want it to be on our team.
Gaunce Could contend for a roster spot but I won't hold my breath on that one.
Casuals needs another year in Utica for sure I hope his game improves.

Yes you did, I for one applaud your efforts, thank you for being so dedicated to your craft, I think you're awesome at what you do.
Everyone one else, I know that American politics is extremely polarizing...seriously, I'm sitting in a hotel in Toronto watching CNN and the satirical debacle of Clinton and Trump.
But it's time to put an end to this in Carols blog, I will ask politely first...and this is the only time I'll ask, thanks for understanding. |
