Srixon soft feel is the best deal, 2 dozen for $35.00. An excellent ball.
I go between the Titleist DT tru soft (great ball for the price) and I still like the proV1. - mhp
Are the new Bridgestone ones as good as advertised? |

Yes. I liked the E6 ball but the better balls rival the Titelist ProV1.
Not a bad alternative. |

Was gonna mention it but don't want to get labelled a geography snob.
I originally brought up under-appreciated North American bands cuz I was thinking about The Band, but they are 4/5 Canadian...like wise Buffalo Springfield. Pretenders/ Foreigner=English+American.
Then I thought of The Tubes...a very underrated band. |

It is? They're not a north american band so a) its not totally surprising that they're not as well liked here and more importantly b) they don't even fit in the category of the question that was asked. If it was all bands everywhere im sure the list here would be filled with euro bands that leave most americans thinking "wtf kind of music is that" |

No but I will search it out! Looks awesome.
Yeah that lineup was nuts. I have The Dub Room Special which is a bunch of cut-up clips, mostly from that era...They do Inca, Stinkfoot, a few others.
Didn't FZ play the Roxy every Halloween for a ton of years in a row? Baby Snakes is from one of those ('79?). - LandlordTom
You're right! He played the Roxy a lot, but I guess I was referring to that original lineup, circa 73-75, Over-nite Sensation- Apostrophe- Roxy & Elsewhere- One Size Fits All era. Check out the movie ASAP! Amazing versions of Inca Roads, T'mershi Duween, and Dog Breath-Uncle Meat especially. Watching them perform those live gave me so much more appreciation to their talent. |

Fully aware. Still hate them. I think they deserve mention even if we're talking about Emirati bands. That's how much I hate them. |

That's spent a lot of time as my favorite Zappa song, but honestly so has about 20 others. He just made so much amazing material. I've been working on a "Zappa on the uke" project for a year or so and that was one of the first songs I tackled. It took almost two months to figure out an arrangement that worked for a single, four-stringed instrument but I eventually found something that I was happy with. He really was a genius song writer. |

Agree, but that's a bit a of a false equivalency. They're a popular band here. And that was the spirit of the question. |

Nice, man. I've only tackled Why Does It Hurt When I pee on guitar, and even that is pretty tough for me. Trying to get Stick It Out as a folky-acoustic song at the moment. I think I got halfway through Uncle Remus once a long time ago, one of my faves.
When I saw FZ his encore was Strawberry Fields and Stairway to Heaven and the horn section did Page's guitar solo incredibly. The acid really enhanced that show. |
