I just made the final payment on my 1989 Geo (with tinted windows, naugahyde seat covers and fuschia racing stripe). Chicks LOVE it . I would still like to see them bring back the classic hotty magnet that was the Gremlin (what a wonderful hoagie-esque vehicle - I lost my virginity and manhood at the same time). Truly a marvel of modern vehicle technology

Is that the Geo with the turbo?

I actually like driving it more than I thought I would. I love how it has room for the stroller and other crap you need when taking the kids out.

Want leather & manual option?

Find a good used BMW X5 triptronic.
In 2009 for $17,000 bought a 2003 4.6L & no problems yet.
Even got a set of 18" BMW rims & snows tossed in.

Not on a national basis, you get the same crap shoved down your willing throat (Toronto fan) that everyone else hates.

You may get your local yocals discussing Calgary, Edmonton, like west coasters get 5mins of canucks updates, then we have to put up with the other 55 mins of the show with Toronto BS.

- Makita

You guy's should get more fans. Then it will be Nucks all the time. If you could recruit another 5 million fans, you'd be laughing

Yeah, didn't care for her singing. I prefer Wyclef Jean's cover.

manvanfan, i'd go with the Hyundai or Toyota.

Toyota's cost more but hold their value. Hyundai's are coming on. I spoke with a tow operator earlier this year (stupid jetta wagon) and he said those are easily the brands he tows the least. He said people would be surprised by how many honda's he tows.

What sold me on the Toyota was how many taxi companies running them.

More fans improves the on ice product?
No clue how that makes easterners stay up later to watch the entire league.
Watching medias take on highlights hardly keeps ppl in the know.
Eg any poll taken is always skewed due to very little knowledge known

They usually go prius because they're dirt cheap to operate. I asked a driver in Vancouver what fuel cost him on a typical Friday and he said $7.

What I really like about my Toyota is that I never worry about it when I take it for a long drive. If you do your regular maintenance it runs forever. Something like 95% of 4Runners are still on the road 20 years later.

IMO Japanese vehicles Honda Toyota etc run forever if h take care of them.
Best overall value around vs domestic being garbage.

I've never been high on honda's I think they are overblown. The Rav 4 hybrid caught my eye. Yet to take one for a test drive. I really do like a turbo though. Been driving for 14 years now and I've never had a car breakdown.

38000 km on my Chevy Cruze 1.4 Turbo. Crank shaft seal had to be replaced.

Everyone else was lacking so far behind, now everybody is catching up. Unless you get out of the normal companies and move up to higher end. Most of the cars are all pretty close.

Yeah I won't go domestic ever again. I kind of wish Lexus wasn't so expensive. Wouldn't mind one of them.
