Watching W5 and conclusions and the NHL. I think with all the talk of it things will be coming down soon on the NHL

Canada lost again today to USA . Boeser gets a goal.

Trade him. Clearly he's useless. We need to move someone in order to save Gaunce from being stolen in the expansion draft.

I hope they pick the players that are playing the best for WJC. Not because your a Leaf draft pick.

Hey enjoyed the Yonder Mountain String Band, thought it was great to see a blue grass band play Pink Floyd...

Problem with the vtec was you need to be revving so high, where a turbo should kick in way earlier. Torque should be higher then HP.
I have no idea about F1 cars. Turbo's do have to be taken care of properly. Allowed to cool after a hard go and such.
If your buying a used Impreza don't get the sti. Just chip it and add in a air intake and such. STI rattles. Go Mitsubishi evo I heard.

My Audi A4 had 170 hp and 185 torque. I put in a stage 1 chip, larger fuel injectors, air intake and turbo inlet hose for $2200 and I got it up to 250 hp and 295 torque. Pretty much the same as the S4 model but the S4 was 8 grand more.

My brother in law built a manifold and put a turbo on his vtech and used it on the quartet mile. Got kicked off the track by posting high 12s without a full cage. Fast fast car.

I got my wife a canyon with the 5 cylinder. Engine was designed by Honda based off the vtech engine. 4 door 4x4. Great truck, room for the kid and it has power to pull my welded aluminum boat and the horse trailer.

I have a Dodge 4500 4x4 and is a beast. But it's a work Truck. I would seriously look at the new diesel canyon of I was buying now.

I think I first saw this band late 90's, maybe early millennium. Caught a couple of shows in Van then a couple more in Whistler. Funny group for sure.

I went to the dealership and one of the salesmen says no you don't want a diesel canyon, the engines are having troubles. He tried to sell me on a jeep patriot then

Yeah I have heard that and have been researching a bit. good advice. True the Vtec doesn't really take effect until 5-6000 rpm but it sure is nice when it does. Reminds me of the old 2 stroke 500cc motorcycles from the 80's with their power bands…such torque. I'm just not sure I want to risk turbos again with the potential cost of maintenance.

Not a huge fan of the look of the Mitsubishis…the new Imprezzas look much better to me. But it's to each their own.

- LordHumungous

I used to be in love with the imprezas but then after I got the audi, realized I could get luxury and power if I wanted. Not just straight up power lol.

I guess considering the differences of where we live. I've had turbo's since 2006 in all my vehicles and i've never had any troubles. It's also a 10 minutes drive all the way across brandon with only like 10 lights haha. Not a lot of stop start driving. I do most of my driving on the highway travelling for work, that's where most of where my km's come from.

I actually know 2 guys that there imprezas have caught fire at stop lights. They had a good amount of work done under the hood. Not sure what the causes of the fires were.

Ya with 7 months of winter here in AB the AWD on the imprezas is attractive. Interesting though I haven't heard about them catching fire though will need to research more. I love Audi's…love them. But I do have a few buddies that have Audi's and outside of the warranty period they are costing them a small fortune so caution there for me. But honestly the 08 Civic Si is literally one of the best vehicles I have owned. Performs exceptional and little to no mech. issues. Just basically oil changes and tires and yearly maintenance for the most part.
