Well if we are in a playoff position it would be idiotic to trade him. Common sense?
- CanuckDon

If we are in a PO spot is will most likely be because of Markstrom not Miller.

Not to mention we'd never get much more than cap space for him at the TDL due to his age/expiring contract. I'd be surprised if we're out of the playoff hunt and we sell on Burrows and Miller that we'd get more than a 7th round pick for each.

And also not to mention, but Miller has an NTC to boot and unless it's to a Cali team, he's not going to want to move.

- DariusKnight

Exactly...but too many Canuck fans will say Benning and Linden will have failed if they don't ditch him for a 1st round pick at the deadline. Always over valuing our assets

Because Miller's a pile of poop with a poor attitude. It was a bad signing from the get-go.

Just a feeling that Miller will be hurt again and Markstrom will assert himself. Then why not get what we can for Miller at TDL.

I disagree, he was solid last year. I liked the signing. Markstrom likely wouldn't have developed as well without a veteran to handle the majority of starts
And why is he a pile of sh!t?

That would be ideal...but if Miller loses his spot to Markstrom I doubt he has value at the TDL

West Jet or Air Canada?
I've never had a problem with West Jet but only two times i've taken Air Canada both delayed.

- manvanfan

Air Canada is way better. Flight attendants are female doges but it's first class compared to the poopty west jet planes and service.

Its all moot with us not being a contender.
We had the cap space for a stop gap & Marky was not ready.
Next season when Miller is gone will be more important.
He did fine for what was expected of the Nux.

Air Canada gets shlt on, but I've always had good experiences. West Jet is the Arby's of airlines.

Should we discuss losing Bredan Gaunce in the expansion draft?

Someone might pay a low price for Miller at the deadline ...even if he is used as Insurance as a team might not trust their backup in case of emergency

either way the Canucks goaltending answer is neither of the two they have now and until demko is ready the Canucks will be doing patchwork like the flames

I've heard dozens of lost luggage stories from air Canada and still haven't heard one from west jet though ...I'm sure there are lots but I find it odd how all the stories I hear are air canada incidents

End of the day all airlines have issues, just fly United to see the worst. West jet has this image they've created through marketing that they are the best customer service airline around. Once you see past the silly jokes and supposedly friendly agents, you'll see a company with many holes in it.

I've experience bad service from both air canada and west jet, but the fact west jet makes it appear that they are the best pisses me off to no end. I've had two of the worst customer service experiences flying with west jet, and vowed never to fly them again. Unfortunately they are the only airline that flies direct to Palm Springs, so I couldn't keep that promise.

Air Canada flies all over the world, West Jet doesn't, there's a lot more opportunity to lose luggage.

At least you have plans to continually go to Palm Springs

As long as my luggage gets to where I'm going I'm happy ...I don't expect much from the people involved who aren't pilots

Twice a year.
First time flying with a kid, he was 6 months. Fight was 830am. We got to airport at 715...poop was crazy trying to leave the house. But we still made it on time. Got in line and it was long. West jet employee comes and asks where we are going, we said Palm Springs and she says, oh that's going to be tight. Finally get up to the counter at 731am. Hand passports, kid is crying ... Guy says you're too late, last check in is 730 for this flight. Next flight is tomorrow morning, we can get you on that...Didn't even look at my kid crying the whole time I was yelling at him for being an ass. Showed no compassion for waking up a kid at 430am to get to the airport.

Finally the guy says, I may have a solution, but it involves flying to Calgary. I said, fine whatever, as long as we get there today. He says, but it involves an overnight stay in Calgary and fly out the next morning. I told him he was a (frank)ing moron and left to go home. Came back the next morning and have hated west jet ever since.

That makes no sense ...he assumed you couldn't get through security in less than an hour?
To be fair it's an international flight ...should be there a couple hours early

He said it was policy. We would have easily made it, especially with a stroller...they always push us past security and customs lines. Also, total BS because the chick asked me where we were going and she could have pushed us to the front of the line. I figured we were fine once in line.

Have you tried flying with kids? Getting out of the house is a battle.

First and only time I've ever missed a flight. (frank) west jet.
