Regardless of size I think Subban can bring an NHL game but he has to beat out a couple really good players at camp to do it. If he doesn't he could be set as a career AHLer.

Well Travis Green has said that he is offensively good but needs to work on his defence. I kind of wondered maybe if he would be suited better as a forward and more of a Brendan Gallagher type of player. He's looks to have a fairly thick 5'8" frame.

Im not sure why people keep suggesting he change positions, the only time I can think of it ever working was with Brent Burns and he's back on defense because its valuable to have those offensive instincts on the back end. Other converts are bottom 6 forwards (Biznasty is another off the top of my head), not Gallaghers who can play top 6. Subban was scouted by all sorts of hockey people for years, who if they thought it would be better he play forward, would have suggested it years ago. No one ever suggest Ryan Ellis, who is an inch taller and weighs the same, play forward in the NHL. Subban just needs to keep improving his game

Probably to protect him from the expansion draft.

I don't see how this helps protect Guance in the expansion draft.
- Marwood

Precisely why it's important to switch allegiances to Las Vegas now. Dark days ahead for this franchise. We will almost certainly lose one of Guance, Etem, Granlund or Sbisa. Corradogate 2

Should start to see this year if any of the D Van has drafted or signed as a FA's are going to be NHL players in the futures.

Second years for Subban, Sautner. First year for Neill. Brisebois can take the next step with a new team and cracking the WJ roster.

The defensive future to me looks a bit brighter then the forwards after Van added a potential top pairing D man.

- manvanfan

future D in 3 years looks like

Hutton Tanev (or preferably someone else)
Juolevi Gudbranson
Edler Tryamkin

Delta is #1 for service, United is trying a lot harder and is upgrading its entire fleet. if you have the option, i'd suggest flying one of those two airlines only. the stewardesses on those planes actually smile and talk to the passengers, at least with me anyways...

United is awful... lost luggage and if not damaged... I have flown with them multiple times and every second go, there is a f**k up.

Keep playing the victim.
It was your post that got you banned, I didn't write it. Didn't this happen 2 months ago? Maybe time to let it go.

i fly with them quite a bit and haven't really had any issues per se... i find airport to airport the quality of the ground crew really changes. at Toronto Pearson, they are some of the slowest to offload luggage, same with D.C. @Dulles. Delta through Det and Atl are pretty good comparatively.

Hi,

Happy Monday! Hope you're all doing well. It's been busy here in my world.

New blog is up, on the Juolevi signing, the search for a winger, and a snipe show by Brock Boeser:

For the 2017 NHL draft unless Van is drafting top 12ish. It may be a good idea to draft another power forward. A Max Jones, Lawson Crouse. Another player like Virtanen. Take time to develop. Should get on that now.

I think it has to be BPA from here on out.
