Jost looks like he will be very solid in the NHl one day. I also like that he will develop along side Boeser. Convince both to join Utica after this upcoming season.

I agree Boeser is a maybe, he looks very good in NCAA in a way that Jost has not yet proven. I guess it is a pretty fair trade, a top-10 pick for a top 4 d-man.

I'm not as big on Jost as many, so I guess I just don't see 1c so (like McCann) he becomes redundant.

Not to mention a trade for Subban would set us back to where we were before Gillis got fired with no prospects and with no one to potentially replace the Sedins. Not to mention we'd have had to jettison some salary (ie. Burrows, Sbisa, Dorsett) and would have not been able to sign Eriksson or make any other moves to improve.
