Realistic like expecting McCabe to be as good as Hjalmarsson or Muzzin?
I don't think getting another top pair guy is as much of a luxury as it is a need to eventually contend for the cup.
McCabe could end up that guy, I just wouldn't bet on it - sbroads24
Why is it SOOOOO UNREALISTIC to think that a 2nd round pick,
Who's made significant leaps in development EVERY year,
Could become more than the "#4" u project him as?
Hjalmarsson & Muzzin are really good #3s, borderline #2s
It's not like I'm saying McCabe will be a Norris trophy candidate
Took Hjalmarsson 5 years after being drafted to make Chicago
McCabe is ahead of that pace
I'm not saying McCabe will definitely be that good
But u seem to be definitely dismissing it
Why do u think McCabe will just be average?
All he's done is get better every year
Don't know what more you're looking for?

2 biggest surprises for me last season was mccabe and chad johnson

Johnson was a surprise to me, for sure
I've been high on McCabe all along though
You've prob seen me write that all along I've thought that it would be McCabe paired w Risto on the top pair & Zadorov-Myers as the 2nd pair
Maybe I'm hoping for too much out of McCabe...
But I've liked him all along, and u really couldn't ask for more
He's developing great
Tough to say what his ceiling will be
But so far, he's trending up in a really good way

Hjlamarsson or Muzzin are borderline 1's. Not 3's.
Muzzin ended with 8 goals 32 assists and some of the best defensive numbers in the league. How is that a borderline #2?
My wife hated it. I loved it. It's everything that 70's show could have been with swearing! - Stripes77
Early episodes are slow, so if she only watched those I can't argue the opinion too much. It definitely got better as it went along it seemed, but overall the show is a bit awkward - the main draw are the 2 leads for me.
I've been watching That 70s Show reruns lately too.

Any guesses on what the Sens "significant hockey announcement" will be? I'm hoping(for their sake, because, really, F the Sens, twice) they've come to their senses and bought out Melnyk.
But Players are attending so it's probably an outdoor game like an article speculated. - Wetbandit1

I red that too. How can all these people say they know whats gonna happen ? They should use that special gift and buy lottery tickets. - cabin
Wow that's impressive considering Dreger tweeted Vesey is meeting with the Pens today. It's going to be awfully hard to meet with the Pens, Hawks and Bruins and sign with the Bruins before noon today.

He's only meeting with the pens and hawks to explain why he's signing with the bruins.

And that's not even a sure thing (Pitts). Dreger says he believes Penguins will meet with Vesey today. So who really knows whats going on besides Vesey and his agent.

I think Vesey's decision will be the domino that gets things moving again. There are a lot of unsigned RFAs still that could be impacted by him signing. If he signs here, could we put a package together involving Trouba and Girgs? Or a bigger package to get Lindholm? There are a lot of big name RFA forwards not signed too.

I don't understand the notion that the Jets are going to move Trouba. It doesn't make any sense.
