Great read, Michael. I can't believe how piss poor we've drafted in the past, sheer luck would have had us finding a few decent players, but it's almost like being cursed. Now that Pegula has spent on scouts over the last few seasons, I'm hoping we have a few guys in our system that will turn into our Johnny Gaudreau. I think Esteban may be that guy, and maybe Borgen on the defense.

I'm staying away for the next few days. They are going to be frustrating days for sure, as we have to listen to his agent use his agent speak on how great all the meetings are going, and having to listen to all of the speculation from mid level reporters.

It's going to be hell!!!

I only heard they met with him and his camp twice but IMO knowing how they want him, would not shock me if they made a last ditch effort but I still think he will talk with other teams no matter what.
