Talked again and as of now, same outcome. - SABRES 89
From Vesey's agent...
“What Jimmy wants to do is see it through,” said Fish. “He’s wanted to go to free agency and he’s going to see it through. There’s about 4-5 teams other than Buffalo that he wants to hear from. And then after that he’s going to make a decision.
We’ve looked at depth charts with some teams and talked about them. . . . “There’s obviously a lot of thought that goes into it: The city, the coach, the GM, the salary structure, how a team treats their players in the second and third contracts down the road.”

Looks like it's actually Tuesday that he can talk to other teams. We have control through 8/15. So midnight Tuesday he can start talking to other teams.

This is correct. I've said for couple of weeks that Buffalo absolutely was the leader, and can offer him more than any other team. There is the hometown pull, but as was stated, don't underestimate the Jack Factor. I've only heard of the initial meeting last month. Buffalo, and Jack, has left him alone since then as that's the way GMTM works - he doesn't like "bugging" players. They have talked this weekend, initiated by The Vesey party. This was to "finalize" the Sabres offer, both financially (bonus structure) and logistically (How the envision Jimmy fitting in).

Turbo - from the beginning, you have explained this consistently and in a way that makes sense, adding small tidbits each time. Seems reliable.
But as definitive as you've been, if Vesey goes elsewhere you won't have any way to escape.

They have talked 2 times since the 1st meeting, so a total of 3 times last night included.
So, I'm in Rochester, and own a small cottage on Conesus Lake that I totally gutted and renovated myself...plumbing, electrical, studs, plasterboard...the whole nine yards ( felt like 11)...
I'm 58 and 3/4 ...
Last night my wife and I had younger friends down...not what you think!...
After an afternoon on the water, we started doing gravity bongs...haven't done that in..what, 25 - 30 years....fun as hell, drinking bourbon, smoking gars, more bongs, more drinks....man, great times! - IonSabres

I never like to start or end a 9 with a par 3 - homiedclown
I was a member there for 4 years back in the 90's. It is a weird set up, all the par 3's are right there to start and finish each 9. 2 and 3 are par 5's and all of the greens slope the same way. Not much thought was put into it. Not a bad track though, the bar was always lively, especially on Friday's.

And here I was thinking that 8/15 was the date. I'm not sure how much longer I can take it. I'm having this image flash across my brain of Fish coming out, saying Jimmy has made a decision and we'll let you all know what it is on September...........
