Don't forget all these college free agents - Nelson, Ruhwedel, all of em on other teams - are insisting on an opportunity to play as a condition of signing. I would expect players are getting used to it these days.

And I expect that Murray isn't promising him a spot, he's just saying "we envision you as an important part of our top 6 after you prove you earn that spot."
