What about the Canucks

Please allow me to settle this debate before it can even get off the ground. The Philadelphia Flyers are, unequivocally, the superior team in ALL situations.

Let's begin at the foundation of the current roster.

The Forwards:
The Flyers are a very strong team up the middle. Our roster boasts the likes of Claude Giroux, a veteran centre only JUST entering his prime. With Brayden Schenn and Sean Couturier, this team is going to be solid up the middle for YEARS to come.

Who does Ottawa have? Derek. Brassard. Its laughable really. This guy couldn't cut it on the Rangers, a hack team that has relied on stellar goaltending for years. If Lundqvist goes down, mark my words, that team will have an epic collapse not seen since, oh, um, last year when Carey Price was lost to injury and the Habs crapped themselves.

On the wing, the Flyers can boast all-star Voracek, Simmonds and new addition Dale Weise who is known for his heart.

The Flyers have Bobby Ryan. That's it.

The Defense:
The Flyers are proud to boast a new star and stud defenseman Gotisbehere. While the Senators have Karlsson, his reputation as a terrible defender in his own zone has caught up to him and that is why he doesn't have a Norris trophy to show for his savvy point totals. Mark my words, Gotisbehere will hoist his first Norris trophy before Karlsson gets his next one.

The Prospects:
The Flyers prospect pool contains Ivan Provorov who is guaranteed to be a star defenseman for years to come. Imagine what he can do beside Gotisbehere.

There really isn't much to debate here and anyone who thinks otherwise is a complete and utter fool.

Chabot is one of the best D-prospects in all of hockey. He will be the best puck moving rookie D the year he breaks into the NHL. He looks like a young Jay Bouwmeester.

Colin White is also a 1B Center like Backes and Brown is a huge center that will be an excellent 1B Center Doug Weight/Bobby Smith style.

Ottawa has super high end talent just in those 3, you mix in Francis Perron who looks like a Hoffman clone, some young D prospects that can fill into the bottom pairing in Jaros and Englund, forward prospects like Dahlen, Gagne, and there are still some legit long shot candidates in Gendron, Wolanin, Daccord who all have a ton of skill and surprised in prospect camp and Ottawa has a really solid prospect group.
