After the Semin disaster MTL signed Radulov? Makes no sense.....he doesn't finish the season there. I have MTL in last place in that division.

Price is an X factor. He can keep them in games they have no business being in. That said, I don't expect them to make the play-offs. Exactly on your comment Semin-Radulov. When has Radulov finished anything he started in the NHL? He will be crying to go back to the K by Xmas.

Sad thing ... he would be a better option than the other two clowns in 2016.

I'm still waiting for RW or anyone else to offer even a shred of proof that experience is overrated. I was told time and time again that Team NA was going to be the proof that things like experience, faceoff ability and intangibles didn't matter and that speed and skill would always win out but Team Europe somehow made the finals and Team NA didn't even make the semis.

How can anyone ever think that experience doesn't matter?! It matters to pretty much everything in life, not just hockey.

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that their side of the bracket was loaded. One game of goalie melt downs was literally the difference between them winning their side of the bracket and missing the elimination round entirely.

Trump maybe not, but if none of the post Cold War presidents have gotten empeached (Clinton got close but for a BS reason) then neither will this Clinton. She'll just be more of the same. Liberal republicanism is dead. Long live the executive branch! King of the good ol' U S of A!

Impeachment isn't the only way to lose a President early.

Speed and skill don't care how much experience you have eh....Isn't that what everyone said about the Oilers for the last decade? I swear all these clown writers on this site are going to be eating crow when the Leafs finish 30th. Anyone take in that starting line-up display last night in Montreal? This team has no depth, no real defensive D, and Colin Greening is in their top 9. Love the playoff projections though HockeyBuzz! Keep swinging
- teamvanek

The Oilers always had speed in skill in their forwards, but their D was/kinda is void of skill, as was their goaltending.

Kunitz still serves a purpose on this team.

Given that their records were identical, I'm pretty sure that goes to show that experience means nothing.

We shall see how he does. I don't have high hopes for him at age 36

I don't believe you had high hopes for him last year either, and he put up 40 points (which is around average for his cap hit.) And also 12 points in 24 playoff games, which is 2 points less than the amount he put up in the same amount of playoff games in 2009 when the Pens won the cup.

EDIT: I may have been in the not having high hopes camp for him either to be honest.

A lot of people were. It just seems like they can't put him anywhere other than with Sid. If he plays bad he stays there. I would love to see a younger guy with more skill build chemistry with Sid.

I hope he does well not just for trade value but to prove me wrong..

If he does well, they aren't going to trade him. He's in the last year of his contract, so if he does well, you keep him for the playoff run. And he wasn't bad with Sid, he was never a liability in any way, he just wasn't as good as we're used to.
