It basically said that Jack's season is over without having any other information than what we have. So basically it was written by some people here.

Relax, folks. Get the doctor's opinion before we start saying we're certain that he's going to lose the leg just because some friend of a friend of a friend who has a veterinary technician degree from the University of Phoenix says it might not be great.
