For sure. It was a surprise to me too. Especially when you look at where he was when he scored the majority of those goals. I guess he's a bit more well rounded than we thought.

I'd rather be both honestly, and while I would feel great for the players and the city if they won despite playing the Devils awful style, I'd much prefer watching entertaining high scoring games as this is entertainment for all of us after all.

Based on Bylsma's comments yesterday, it sounds like ROR is playing tonight. He said he had a good practice and I think mentioned that he was out there for a good 20 mins past everyone else. They just needed to see how his body reacted to the practice session.

Okposo is for sure out tonight, but may be available after tonight. They said he's close, but know he's not available tonight.

Thanks! So if Okposo is good to go after tonight, maybe they won't need to bring another forward on the trip. If they were to call someone up, I would hope for Bailey.

If I am watching my team play I would rather take a 1-0, 2-1 win than a 5-4 loss all day everyday.

If I am watching 2 random teams play I just want to be entertained. I have seen some great 2-1 games and some great 5-4 games.

But we are talking about winning here, it's what we all want, a winning team right?

Would I rather be more entertained in a win? Sure, but at the end of the day winning is all that matters.

There don't need to be a ton of goals scored for a game to be entertaining anyway. Some games are complete snoozefests. But if I come out with the W at the end of it, I'll be happy.

Kind of like the Bills game this past weekend. The game was UGLY. But I was ecstatic that we came out with the W, because at the end of that day, that's what actually matters.

So no Eichel(obviously), No Okposo. Any others reasons I should skip watching this game tonight?

We aren't winning a cup this year. I expect and want them to be good, but I also would like some entertaining hockey for once.

It was a freak accident. It sucks. I bet nobody feels worse about this than he does though. I'm sure this isn't how he wanted to start the season either.

It sucks that it's Eichel, but lucky for us, it's the deepest position on our roster, so "filling" that void is a bit easier. (not that you can really replace a guy like Eichel)
