A high ankle sprain for a goalie is a completely different animal than it is for a normal skater though.

If that is indeed what it is, we got VERY lucky. Even if he does miss some time. It would be WAY better than the alternative.

He didn't really "re-injure" it. When he came back he was still bothered by it, but was playing through it. It got to the point that he just couldn't handle the pain anymore. Considering how well he played while still dealing with it, I give him a lot of credit. He's a battler.
