Dating back to last year, Voracek has one goal in his last 19 games, and if you include the playoffs Giroux is now without a goal in 16 games. WTF is going on with these guys??
No player is fully healthy at the end of a hockey season, so I'm not buying injuries. |

They are always looking to pass. That's part of it. Giroux had a prime scoring lane on that 2 on 1 and attempted a difficult pass instead. He does that on at least 75% of his odd man opps. |

Do you think they'll keep MacDonald in to get the minimum amount of games played to be eligible for the expansion draft?

These guys have to start putting the puck in the net. That is what they are being paid to do. There isn't enough finishers on the team for them to try and be Adam Oates all the time. |

They're both pass first guys and they've been doing that just fine to start the year. |

I knew the entire time that G was going to pass it to Schenn when the D clearly had the passing lane covered. Just shoot it G!!! |

You know, when they first introduced those sweaters, I thought they really looked good. Last night though, I thought they looked like crap on the ice.
On the PP, the Flyers had a really nice passing play for a goal early, then they spent the rest of the game on the PP trying to make more fancy plays. They needed to get the puck to the net and crash the the net more. Gostisbehere is really struggling in all aspect right now. - MJL
Agree on the Ghost assessment and the sweaters although I always hated them. In response to Read yes he is playing well this is the Matt Read that they had in mind when they extended him. He's had flurries of play like this before even in his recent down seasons so it will be interesting to see if he can keep up this play. Once Raffl gets back Id throw him on the 3rd line centered by Cousins and Read. Weise deserves the 4th line right now I'm not seeing great hustle from him. |

Jake looks good. Giroux actually looks ok too. The young players are letting this team down right now. The rookies and ghost. Schenn should be looking much better next game. It should turn around but once again the flyers are getting off to a slow start I don't know what else to expect |
