I think that the whole minutes thing was PR bullpoop, and that he just doesn't want to play in Winnipeg unless they overpay his market value. But that's just me.

If we are to believe Dreger on TSN, and Trouba does indeed not want to play in Canada,
then I hope we trade him to Carolina or New Jersey or someplace similar.
A little history...
Hawerchuk wanted a trade - he wound up in Buffalo.
Kane wanted a trade - he also would up in Buffalo.
For 5.5 million a year, i would play left side defence pretty much anywhere.
