Has there ever been a successful rebuild?
- manvanfan

The problem with an open ended question like this is, everyone's definition of a "rebuild" is different.

It'll be a miracle he makes it back for the barn burner on the 3rd.

Try to suck, sell off everyone you can, and suck on purpose.

Interesting, I saw somewhere the average is only up 1 degree over the past 100 years.

"Defenceman Frank Corrado has played in just 39 of 95 Leafs games since being picked up off waivers from Vancouver. And, even though Toronto lost 7-0 on Tuesday, it doesn't look like he'll get a chance to play on Friday when the Leafs host the Flyers"

It used to be funny but man I am starting to feel bad for this guy

Well said

To me it doesn't matter what you call it ...you have to draft high end players ...whether that's first overall or 20th ...

What about Lockwood. 8 in 8 leading Michigan and not playing with any notables.

He's showing way more scoring ability than I anticipated, looks like a really solid prospect

I'm no expert but there's a difference between global warming and climate change. The rising of the average mean temperature of the earths surface has slowed in the past 15 to 20 years but the climate on earth has certainly changed. If that makes sense?

10 years and Edmonton is starting to turn it around.

Hansen out 4-6 weeks fractured ribs.

Does that mean no playoffs?

And success to you means having a Cup challenging team or a Cup winner?

I think van is sort of rebuilding properly. If Van does suck this year. I hope they trade a few assests. For example they pick Nolan Patrick at 1.

Patrick will join the lineup as probably 3rd line center and will be playing with some experienced players.

Looking at Matthews, if he doesn't score they lose 7-0. There's no depth at all because they have sold off everything.

Good morning,

Michigan boy Ryan Miller gets back in against the Red Wings but his brother Drew is scratched. Jimmy Howard's on a roll and maybe Jake will stay in Utica beyond this weekend...

To most I would say yes. The final goal for all teams is to win the cup. Continue after to have new draft picks enter the line up year after year, kind of like Chicago.

The more I hear about Patrick the more it sounds like he is an overall good player but doesn't do anything exceptionally well ...just a solid player ...might not be a game changer ...no guarantee he goes first overall

The earth is definitely still warming, but at a slower rate. The classical period for averaging weather variables is 30 years in accordance with the definition set by the World Meteorological Organization, however, smaller increments of ten years show much smaller variability in warming.
