Its a rebuild. He would be 33-35 before the team competes again. Retired or washed up by then.

Having Hansen here for three years is better than using up millions and millions on Burrows Eriksson Twins Edler Tanev.

If I wanted any new Canucks coming into the system I would rather they learned Hansens style and not the above mentioned

I say now, and there is a 99% chance I never change my mind. WD needs to go, and he needs to go now. Some people say there is no point to firing him now, but there is. The young kids will stop learning his loser style of hockey. That is worth kicking him to the curb.

Benning should be on the phone right now for a new coach. An NHL coach. Not another 1st time farm coach. Green isn't doing so well this season either.

People rave about the Leafs rebuild . Canucks are delaying for two more years what needs to be done now. This is why I dislike Linden as prez. Too many friends on the team.

Leafs move Clarksons ugly contract ( Erikssons)

They traded Phanuef and Kesler for picks and kept salary ( the Sedins)

They kept Kardi to help the young guys ( Bo)

And they kept Bozak who is a team leader ( Hansen)

Sounds like you guys are finally coming around. No more of this "we're a playoff team, it's just east coast bias' nonsense.

Sounds like a lot are hoping to copy the Leafs rebuild strategy.

Clarkson 26 points in 118 games. Eriksson currently on pace for 25 points in 75 games.

Trade Edler and Hansen would be like trading Phanuef and Kessel.

Kardi and Bo , yup.

Bozak was 27 when they started the rebuild, is now 30 when the rebuild is turning around. So Basically Bozak is Van's Sutter.

If it was the last year of the Sedin's contract I think they would be more willing to go to different teams if they separated. No team is going to take on both of them. With enough ELC contracts. They will need the Sedin's cap hit just to get to the floor.

4 game home stand, WD in the hot seat and 3 days of no games before they play the Yotes in Arizona. The schedule is so tight, I don't know if these non game days make that big a difference though if the players end up getting the days off per cba... the next stretch of days between games is at the end of December.

Can't think of why a coach would want to take the wheel of this sinking ship.

I said the 20 game mark they had to be at .500 otherwise WD would be gone.
