Miller is still great and I like their D. Their under performing right now but they'll be in the playoff hunt soon.

The Sedin's are like Marleau and Thornton. Difference is that SJ had good and bad years and were much better at drafting then Van. They got help from Couture and Pavelski. Traded for a good D in Burns, help from Hertl.

Other then Kesler in 2003, the next player to actually help Van is Horvat 10! years later. Even if every 2nd year Van had a player make any sort of impact, things would be much different.

Developing in a losing environment. Some aren't playing big minutes or big situations. So I'd say not really. Better to play top lines in Utica till deadline where others are traded away and they don't care anymore.

Utica is a winning team...? Only thing AHL will give them is easier opposition. If they need st cause they aren't NHL ready... okay. But this team doesn't have anyone anyway. They should be playing big minutes here. Who is in the way that's going to be traded? The only two tradable guys are injured.
