Who plays the left side with Klein/Girardi? Don't think either of them ever have

I just like having 2 defenseman on different lines who can create offense. In a perfect world, we find a top pairing right handed D man for cheap.

Girardi to me is kinda treading water at this point on the top pairing. The Zib injury really throws a wrench into any trade right now but I think we can all see the Defense as a whole starting to let water in as the offense dries up a bit

Right side is definitely an issue. No number 1 over there. I understand the want to put Skjei on the right side, because he is basically playing like a 1b on the left with McDonagh.

I actually didn't think the D was bad last night, thought the offense passed up a bunch of good chances to shoot on a not so good goalie.

The makeup of this year's team has me less worried about Zib's injury, as bad as it is. Fortunately much deeper, good job Gorton. Have to get Zucc and Nash going somehow.

Yup. I love Stepans all around game but if you need a defensive forward 3 on 3 you are doing it wrong.
