Yeah you would need to have your socks knocked off to trade Hutton. OJ should be coming up next year and If Sbisa isn't taken in the expansion draft then Van will have a log jam not only on the Right but the Left side.

So Dallas got Kris Russell last year. Calgary got a young D who plays 10 minutes a game in the NHL. A prospect who is now playing in the ECHL and Dillion Dube. A win or a lose? (yes its still more then Van got for Hamhuis)

I worry that with his injury, and all the hype that surrounds Stecher, that management feel Tanev is a bit expendable and may sell him short at TDL. In all honestly, we might be ahead of ourselves anyway. Tanev more than likely won't be traded.

Yeah based on managements track record the last 2 years they seem unwilling to trade someone like him, because they see the team as competitive so they probably won't trade a guy entering his prime. Still interesting to theorize about, I bet he'd bring in a big haul if they ever did want to get rid of him
