So Skille scored 2 goals tonight and still only played 7:17... You really can't expect 4th liners to contribute nightly at 7 minutes a night. Tonight is a one off for skille probably.

We better enjoy tonight, Skille and Megna likely won't have another game this good all season

I got your part on bunch of goals for Canucks team being rare. You would think it would be by the well known Sedins, Bo, LE etc.

But man 4 goals by two free agent signee AHL call ups? Plus they were skill goals not garbage off the but luck plays either. Shaking my head. Did the Hanson is back factor into it?

Plus let's not forget Guddy's bank shot. Wow the force was with them on Star Wars night in TB.

What, a ten-year NHL scrub can't get a little love after his big breakout game?

I'm not high on Skille. MY problem is with WD playing his 4th line 5 minutes a night. I'd like that to double. The rest of the team would have more energy at the end of the game. The guy scored 2 goals and only played 7 minutes in a 5-1 game. He and the rest of the 4th line should have played at least 12 by the end of that game.

I just want to say that I did think that Tampa Bay was going to win tonight 6-2 but I also forgot that Van wins one loses one rinse and repeat and I forgot they had lost to NJ last game.

Honestly no one has any idea when Van is and isn't going to win. Even though it's literally 50/50, it's much harder then that.

Exactly When Hansens back and Rodin is back, team could be interesting to watch

Can we just imagine if Van would have gone 4-5-0-0 instead of 0-9-0-0? We would currently be in the playoffs. This just tells us this team isn't all that far off from being a playoff team. I know that does sound a little crazy but it's reality. Even with our top 2 dmen injured we have still managed to produce wins.

As much as we think JB and TL are out of their minds to this is a playoff team maybe we need to take a closer look. We as a fan base should climb down off that bridge and support this team whole heartedly.

Am I out of my mind??

Is Rodin ever coming back? Skating usually means not that far away and he has been skating by himself for a while now.

Here's the thing, it doesn't matter if they're a playoff team because they can't beat anyone in a best-of-seven series. It's like making the playoffs only to get wickedly embarassed. I don't see how that is helpful to turning this team into a cup contender. In this league, you're a contender or you should be building towards that. Getting pummeled by Calgary or SJ or Anaheim does no good because the players who will learn from that experience won't be here when the team is a contender.
