Sure and while I haven't been impressed yet with his play, its still early days. I don't think Benning could of guessed that Stetcher would be eating up top 4 minutes this early as well.

I imagine he thinks Gudbranson is a guy who will improve or he wouldn't of moved McCann and a 2nd for him.

dunno, never heard that. but good news for him. I thought he showed well playing junior but hasn't produced much when moving up to the senior club (just going by the stats, and he is only getting limited opportunity.

Ya. I really don't know what's going on with him over in the Czech league but a 17 year old player name forgotten is playing in the Czech men's league and doing quite well. So it's not as if they just don't give young players chances. I would like to see Jasek come over and play a season or 2 in Utica.

24 year old ufa defenseman who have top-4 experience don't exist in any free agency. Which UFA defenseman do you have in mind?

Would work amazingly in NHL 16 by EA sports. Ottawa would not take that deal unless we take one of their donkey contracts back.

Why does a ufa have to be young? Benning could've re-signed Dan Hamhuis for a couple years, and still been near the bottom of the league, until they developed their own young defencemen and kept McCann.
