no need Marky can take it , Demko gets a feel for the pros and the team, this happens with teams all the time , i don't get why its a big concern on these boards

Wow...I just saw Luongo's cap recapture on twitter, that'd be a punch in the threat to get stung with that. I'm sure Booner has thrown one of those

Not sure if they could actually enforce this in a court of law but it'll be interesting when these guys retire early from one of these deals.

the improving team structure, the impressive penalty kill, can Megna and Skille continue to help on the scoresheet? is Miller out long term or is just precautionary? how will the team fare with a quick turnaround between todays game and the early start tommorow? will Hansen be on the top line tommorow? ............just to give you a few more relevant topics as opposed to the anti-management rhetoric

She's Weber has a cap recapture of 24.7 mill or so. Imagine that hit if he retires a couple years early.

I dont understand how the league even made that rule. They approved all of the contracts and then years later said oh ya if these guys retire early were gona totally ruin your franchise.

There was a loop hole, they decided they didn't like the loop hole and told clubs not to use it and then put that penalty in the cba. It was okay until it wasn't and then here is how we are gonna scr3w you.

I'm holding out hope that maybe the rule will get changed again or rescinded if one side (the players, presumably) opts out of the CBA at their next opportunity - September of 2019. That's not so far away anymore. Can Loo play at least two more seasons after this one?

Also, Luongo's career could end due to injury. If he goes on LTIR, the recapture is a non-issue.

I think you'll be suffering from the slightly different "lower body stiffness"

I believe that Luo could go another two years easily, but as you stated injuries could be a factor.

I wonder if this is even an issue with the PA, or if they would just leave it to the affected organizations to challenge the rule.

Thanks Carol. As discussed last night Demko is a call up for insurance only over Miller. I believe Marky will play both games this weekend and question will be if Miler can back up on whether Demko dresses.

Besides WD's pattern is not to let players into the line up without practicing first. Especially young players. Even Hansen will sit until tomorrow. Seems to be the better move. Hansen would probably have replaced Megna so WD is rewarding his 2 goal game with another showing close to home. While putting Hansen's speedy fresh legs in for tomorrow. Plus, it's easier for Hansen being out so long not to play back to back games.

It's about time that one of the Goalies gets a groove going. Goalies need rhythm. I would like to see Gaunce sit over Megna.
