I know
I'm with you though on Skjei, no way I want him on his off side against the other top players. - mdw7413
we need a top pairing RHD in the worst way
I have been beating that drum for awhile now
problem is nobody wants to trade anything other than Fast, Lindberg and Klein |

guess I disagree with you two jabronis - mrn22
I just think its a bad move. I remember the few games they had him there and he looked a bit out of place. Not nearly as good as on his strong side. |

Zuke or Miller are really the only option. It would suck losing either one, but if they need that top pairing guy, they would be involved in a package. |

we should trade Lindberg, Fast, Klein, Ottawa's 2nd rounder in 2017, Fogarty and our 2018 4th for Drew Doughty |

Substitute the 2nd for Hrivik and I could get on board with this |

He's hurt right now, but just want to throw this name out there -- Tyler Myers. They are stacked on the right side, and maybe you can make Trouba finally happy there with freeing up the minutes on that side a little.

they also have a lot of guys to protect in expansion draft, I could see that |

Dustin Byfuglien? His name still dangled out there. Almost always seems to be every season.

I will also say this. I like Shattenkirk. But Shattenkirk is going to get paid. Like, really paid. And, if indeed Shattenkirk get's paid let's say $7.5-8 million a year, I do not think the acquiring team will ultimately end up happy.

He is subpar defensively and he makes a ton of money (I think they just re-signed him last year). I don't think he would be a good target for the Rangers, as I would prefer that the guy the Rangers play with McDonagh on the top pair plays a little defense. He would be a great asset for the power play, however, but his salary is in the mid $7 million range.

He's only 27 so he's going to get 7 year offers, and you know teams will offer 7 million plus a year. So yeah, going to be tough to live up to that for the duration. |

No way you can trade Stepan without a center coming back. Would kill this team |
