Miller signing if done is not at expense of losing Markstrom I think. More likely, if they want to keep Demko playing lots of AHL minutes.

Personally not interested in signing big name Free Agents. Some stop gap measures for.a year or so I could live with.Wasn't happy with last year's signing either especially the term.

In separate trades Tanev & Hansen fetch a minimum 1st & 2nd.
Otherwise they stay put. JB would make a hockey trade 1st IMO.
Tanev is unlikely to be moved unless a crazy offer is out there.
Callahan is a plug who ties up a roster spot. Why pay so much?
We don't need an anchor of a contract like his. 5.8m/3yrs NAH

That deal has an exempt forward in it, and you trade one protected for another, so the Vegas side would be fine as you could then protect Sbisa. But you are right, I dont think the haul is worth Tanev given the contract coming back. I just dont see Tampa giving up a whole lot to acquire him either

Yes agree that the trade must make sense for both teams. TB not a good trading partner because Tanev is too valued here and only Drouin would do it for Canucks which is a non-starter for Bolts as well.

Vegas may want an experienced goalie and has a 48 hour window to talk to free-agents they may be interested in Miller? A ýoung goalie like Subban and another in the mid-late 20's. If they did that then they can't choose another Canuck.

Guess it all depends on the age of the player. College guy like Stecher is a given. Maybe some low level stop gaps like they did with Megna/Chaput/Skille. But if Oshie or Tavares come up you would be againsr that? Cap space available with Burr & Miller and then Sedins. Even if any of them were resigned probably at bargain basement prices.

Yes true. Same goes with Rodin. But if I were Vegas I would use that window to set up a deal and sign players they want to keep July 1. Meantime pick a sure thing in expansion draft as a keeper or asset to trade at entry draft.
