They let everyone else slip away.
They play in a horrible arena.
His loyalty has not been well rewarded either.
Idk how much longer he will stick it out.
As for 12 then here is quality living over most places. - Nighthawk
Yes the arena is not great but better then old Nassau. Might be a stop gap. The new owner is looking to build a new one in Queens by Citi field stadium. Better for traditional Isle fan commute as well. As for rest look at my answer above to Don. |

Exactly & that is the 1C we covet now if we could only do it👍👍 - Nighthawk
I don't know if Canucks do it or not I am just claiming they have 14 mil in cap space to come off the book if they want to make an offer. |

According to Elliotte Friedman, the Avs are eyeing "good young defensemen or good young defensive prospects" for Landeskog or Matt Duchene.
Would OJ do it and is that desriable? Could Canucks get OJ type in this draft to compensate or is Landy & Dutch types more easily found? Thoughts? |

Fans in one end zone cannot see the net in the NBA arena. |

I know I have been there. But the players like the facilities better. The ice is just as bad. Anyway, JT isn't going to be available. I deleted post to Don since he ignored it and just summarized to you what is below.
Knowing what I hear from Isle insiders they will make big moves in offseason, trading future etc. at entry draft for players. Also, going after free agents like Oshie, Shattenkirk and so on to keep Tavares happy. The Isles will have deal for him to sign based on that. If they don't pull it off he's traded in July to a team who will lock him up. So don't expect JT to hit free agency. |

Otherwise its D for scoring but unlikely. |

As it stands on the NYI i don't see them with a bright future.
Lots to be done or he will wither away there. |

Juolevi and Boeser should be untouchable...unless they are traded for players 22 or under |

Draft and develop - CanuckDon
So you are saying better chance of getting a Landy or Dutch type in this draft? No OJ type in this draft? Or neither? Or hang on to OJ he's going to be exectpionally good?
Factor in the majority age of Canuck core players is 21-26 on this team. OJ is likely 3 or 4 years away from making an impact. But Landy & Dutch fit Canuck young core range now and are signed long term to reasonable contracts. |

Duchene is only signed for another two seasons. We need to get younger and draft our own players. Despite what you think, we are along way away from being competitive. Yes, OJ is going to be great and he isn't going anywhere |

OJ will keep us competitive and make us better when our core is prime.
Our Core consists of Bo, Stetcher,Hutton, Tryamkin with JV, OJ, BB coming up. Sutter/Tanev are the players we need ot help the younger gen come up, Baer is a good 2nd liner but more of a place holder, and Granlund may be the next Hansen for us. |

The Panthers announcers can't think to highly of McCann they just called him McCain |

Just spit balling as young guys of their caliber don't often become available. I like OJ a lot too. Those Av guys are youngish though. But I like developing our own too. As for competitiveness that's a whole other issue. It's a balance on core ages as well. We need to fill pieces and improve other things. Then make the assessment. |

There's 14 players on the 23 man roster age 27 or older, perhaps you should research that
