Just the opposite, he's explicitly stated that he won't be asking players to waive. But at the same time he doesn't want to sell the future for rentals. Just like all his other TDLs here.

The company line all year has been playoffs, and for the first time, they are actually close to maybe, sort of, being in a hypothetical battle for a wildcard berth.

Combo that with the fact that teams will be less interested in making moves due to the expansion draft, i suspect there will be little to no movement from Vancouver's end.

I pvr and usually ffwd through the intermissions instead of listening to Colby Armstrong or whoever, too much of the same clips around the league. I usually watch the panel with Murph.

As much as a dog of a game last night was that's the type of opposition who the Canucks are competing against for a belief in being in the hunt for that spot. So given the level of the competition is just as stinky they have no reason to think they don't have a chance.

I watch the games to see them win even though losing, missing the playoffs and finishing at the bottom of the standings will see us with a better pick.

We are in limbo, until we get more prospects into the system and lineup. I was a bit peeved with the 65pt season predictions, but if we were that bad, there'd be no discussion about buying or standing pat at tdl.
