I forgot about All star selections...which speaks volumes about where the roster we have had of late.

Great for Bo and well deserved imo.

I find it funny the league called Benning on who should go to ASG.

we get bonners for our draft picks and have the penciled in on future year lineups and are prepared to give them a longer leash (like parents who think their kids can do no wrong).

Remember when we had CAssels penciled in for 4th line duty?

I hear Patrick White is going to make an NHL comeback, we should probably ditch Sutter for him and Cassels will take over for Henrik

I thought I knew who it was, but then I thought Makita said he was no alt based on IP address. Sometimes I am not sure though...

I have been conversing with Nuck4U and I have to say he has been getting better the last few days, his posts are legible and have structure and semblance.

It just seems, that all he appears to be doing, is to be the champion of 1040 drama and hysteria. There is nothing wrong with this, although, I will agree that the multitude of posts of regurgitation does become annoying.

Over the years we have gone through quite a few "colourful (controversial) posters" in this blog, some stuck around and integrated into our collective, others come and go, some have never returned.

What I'm saying is people are who they are, accept them or not, if you don't, then let them know but not engaging with them. Nighthawk and Nuck4U had some good interaction going, others joined in, and things were good until they aren't anymore. Everyone needs to take a deep breath and ask if all this drama is worth the aggravation, sometimes I feel like I'm monitoring a daycare group.

I have checked the IP address and there is no correlation to anyone else showing up, although it wouldn't be hard to use a different IP address.

BTW, you guys, and fcuk, Rodin, Chaput, Megna, Skille, JV, Huuton, Beiga, Gaunce, WD, JB, TL and FA.

You got me...Gaunce is really good at playing 6 minutes per night and dumping the puck out of harms way. I see a corsi all star game is his future

Cant send him down without waivers and cant just continually send him for a conditioning stints, there has to be reason for it.

I dont think Tree was lucky to get in, he was working his way into what the staff expected from him. He has improved a lot as his conditioning has improved, more steady

Bo's use has been criticized since day 1 when he was paired up with Dorsett and given 10 minutes/night with no PP time. My point of Bo was that 3 years under WD he has become a really good young player who is responsible at all ends of the rink and ready to do more. If WD thinks Rodin needs more time, or shouldnt play much, I think the track record of holding guys out that werent ready earns him that grace

- WhiteLie

Did we not explore that there are no limits to conditioning stints. What's the rule you know that would bar it?

All TSN can do is put up articles showing how Laine is conceded and Mathews Humble and other than Marner no one has a chance at top rookie....

Zach Werenski.

THATS the top rookie. He has had more impact on his team than the rest combined.

It should not even be a race.

Yeah really. Says something about both this teams level and how little the rest of the league pays attention to them

I think our consensus was off of my limited search for restrictions on how often you can send a player down. Perhaps you found something else but I didn't think anyone come up with something concrete.

I agree, he does need to start putting up some point. I think I mostly took umbrage with the idea that he isn't effective at any role in the NHL.

He has been very effective at being a defensive player and has only really asked to do that yet. I know I'm a Gaunce booster and get some flack here for it ( Don ) but I've been impressed with his development.

Key word being development. He has continued to get better each year and that's all I can really ask of a prospect.

13.8 Conditioning Loan. Unless a Player consents, he shall not be Loaned on a Conditioning Loan to a minor league club. Such Conditioning Loan shall not extend for more than fourteen (14) consecutive days. The Commissioner may take whatever steps he deems necessary to investigate the circumstances under which a Player is Loaned on a Conditioning Loan. If the Commissioner has reason to believe or determines that the Club has used the Conditioning Loan to evade Waivers, or otherwise Circumvent any provision of this Agreement, he may take such disciplinary action against the Club, as he deems appropriate. The Player shall continue, during the period of such Conditioning Loan, to receive the same Paragraph 1 NHL Salary, and be entitled to the same benefits, that he would have received had he continued to play with the Club

Bettman hates us, so he could block it by saying we want to send him down because he isnt ready to play in the NHL but dont want to expose him on waivers

The idea that someone would go to the time of using an Alt that wasn't totally obvious (Scoobs) is laughable.

But people are strange.

I think that was the initial joke about the dude was that his posts were so bad and hard to understand, they had to be a convoluted prank.

I don't know if beyond the idea of some conspiracy, many of us actually think he's an alt.
it would take too much time and for what pay off?

Could be a very nice fit and possibly we could move or replace a Dman

yes he looks great. Go a nose for scoring for sure. Youre right, he seems to be a PP quarterback type.

def a good target if JB doesnt think there's a #1 C in the bunch
