I think I might start to regret not taking Tkachuck if we were to draft a D in the 1st round this spring. - boonerbuck
We need scoring and skill in a top 6 player.
After Tryamkin started playing this season, I was wondering if we would have been better off keeping McCann? |

He may go top 10. He's climbing. Those reports are from the summer basically.
ISS has him at 12. Future considerations have him at 9.
I like him. He quarterbacks the PP. Big shot off the point. Big body, good wheels. - boonerbuck
Size and skating is attractive. Hope JB finds that in draft. Nice to track him. Will wait for the big debates of April to June of who JB should take. |

I don't even see the point in that show. You get all of it's content during the game intermissions on Sportsnet.
- boonerbuck
I pvr and usually ffwd through the intermissions instead of listening to Colby Armstrong or whoever, too much of the same clips around the league. I usually watch the panel with Murph.
I miss the Sportsnet Pacific Connected with local content.
CanuckTV just seems so lame. |

I still think OJ will be a very good addition. If we draft Hague it will go a long way for the future. We could trade Tanev or Edler for a very good forward. |

I like the idea of drafting the bpa, even if it is a dman, just wish Trader Jim was a little better with the trades. |

Why are you concerned about race at the ASG? - A_SteamingLombardi
I'm just saying you should be picked on your own individual merit as top point producer on your team for All Star games.
Anyways... Whatever. Just an opinion. Don't know why I ranted about the All Star game when nobody really cares about it anyways... |

No .
Even if you want to re-trade Guddy you would get back an excellent top 6 forward. If you put him on the block a lot of teams would be knocking on the door |

McCann has 1G 2A and playing 10 minutes a game.
Gudbranson is a solid shutdown defenceman playing 20 minutes a game and has like 6 or 7 points I think.
I still think this trade was a win for Benning. |

Calgary got a 2nd for Bert, so I think it was a fair value trade.
Still waiting to see how the Grandlund for Shinkaruk trade pans out... |

Maybe the league called the GMs and the GMs suggested those players for a 3 on 3 game. |

That's a good point of view, and I could possibly see it for Simmonds, he's a beast and has good hands/wheels and usually always makes game changing plays.
The Seth Jones selection is still a real head scratcher however.
And unless they put P.K. back together somehow, it's a hope and a prayer pick when the could have at least given a healthy player from Nashville a nod (i.e. Roman Josi)
You could be right, and I know it's a touchy subject but it smells like the NHL is doing this to make more money somehow... |

I think PK got named automatically because he won the fan vote for his division |

inclusive with the diversity stuff?
I don't think you will hear the players complaining if the league makes more money.
but as he said himself, it is the asg, who really cares? |

Depends how smart they are. Every time the league makes more money they shrink the piece of the pie the players get. |

I just want to know how having more black players at the ASG makes the league more money. I'm predicting the answer will be racist. |
