Coga, I have a question for you. I don't understand why Alfiesh!t keeps trying to trade Ceci to you. If he's so (frank)ing good, why is he trying to trade him for people he thinks are worse than Ceci? Just a curiousity.

well let me tell you a little tale of AlfieSalad, he thinks everything in the sens organization has extreme value and will be the final piece to complete a team.

He said he wouldnt trade Lazar unless he was getting Hall back
He thought Lehner and Cowen would complete the Oilers as they are following Chara and Rask in their development paths
He wouldnt move Turris unless he was getting a Toews, Malkin, Tavares, Stamkos, Duchene back

So what you're saying is he's not the brightest bulb in the fork drawer. I've seen some his posts and gotten that sense of player overvaluing from him. We all do it though to some degree. Not really me, since JT is the only player with value on the Isles, but, yeah, I get it. Since Ceci is such a great D-man, I'd trade him Bailey, Kuli, and a polo mallet for Ceci and Bobby Ryan.

there is nothign wrong with taking a chance on Ceci, but hes a 3rd round pick and a prospect take a chance on. Not as part of a duchene trade. AlfieSalad is just as simple as they come

All jokes aside, your value of Ceci Coga is way off. He's certainly would looking at in a package for Landeskog; if it was Duchene, I'd want Chabot or White.

Me personally, I'd go for White. Perhaps Logan Brown can work but I'm not sure about that.... I really like White's game and his ability to be so effective all over the ice; much like Bergeron and Toews.

That would be fine and dandy and all. But I doubt Shatty wants to come back to Colorado. One guy I wouldn't mind would be Markov in MTL. Eats minutes, generates offense, okay on defense. Don't know about his fancy stats. Sounds about right for COL... Finally have some cash flow to throw at the deadline and theres only marginal talant available.

I dont know about Markov, hes almost 40 and is injury prone every season. Id hate to bring in another guy just to see his career end horribly in Colorado. We need somebody with fresh legs whose going to make a difference on our team, not be impactful on others in the past.

But if they get Shatty, I think they look at moving Barrie for a Dman to complete the Top 4. EJ and Shatty wold be your Righties, Zads and a trade target would be your lefties. Lets say they move Barrie to edmonton for a package that gets you back Nurse or Davidson. If they can move Beauchemin off at the deadline...
