Tanev straight up for him? - Reubenkincade
If Tanev goes to Buffalo then they throw in their first or Nylander to go along with Kane. |

Everyone keeps saying when the twins are gone we are screwed. I say BS.
Benning has built a very decent D and goal tending has been a lot better than anyone predicted .
They are both producing points about 1 out of three games and I think that can be replaced especially with all that cap space.
If I am wrong we get some very high draft picks , but the backbone is already in place for the transition. - VANTEL
Sven-Bo-Erk
Granlund-Sutter-?
Labate?-Gaunce?-Virtanen?
? - ?- Dorsett.
Edler-Stech
Hutton-Tanev
Tree-Gudbranson
Markstrom.
Now subtract one of Sven, Hansen, Granlund or Sbisa due to expansion.
Sedins, Miller (likely gone this summer) Sbisa, Burrows (same as Miller) and Hansen are UFA's, Megna, Chappo and Skill as well.
Maybe insert Boeser and OJ over the next two seasons, with maybe another two 1st round kids that potentially make the jump at best...
UFA class is slim to none.
Looking good.... |

I would really like Kane TBH but that is a seperate trade. - VANTEL
It seems Tanev RHD makes more sense for Sabers then Av's but he's worth more then Kane. But this is more off season stuff at best depends if they move Sbisa by TDL. If they lose him rather then forward to Vegas. Then likely no D traded off season. Also Vegas may flood the maket with extra picks they have. |

Saw it like that at the time. Which was why it would have been nice to do deal in summer with lower value. |

I think it would be close.
Adam Larsson got Taylor Hall.
Tanev is better than larsson
-Better corsi
-Better possession
-Better Shot suppression
-The same offensively
- He is a right shot top pairing D-man which is impossible to trade for. |

Would rather trade Miller to Dallas for one those 2 bums they have in net.
Taking on another year of one of those guys salary would be worth a high pick or a good prospect. |

The lead up to the TDL will tell who is serious & who is not.
Bubble teams galore & still fence sitting. Patience only lasts so long til the 1st key domino falls. The Habs or TB i think r 1st to pull the trigger. |

Look man, i appreciate your optimism, but to say the team is going to be better off without the twins is downright ludicrous.
Even if Bo becomes elite material, we would ultimately be devoid of at best, 3 other top six players, assuming Sven and Brock/Virtanen become first line material.
I know you love Benning and all, but this team could not even find Kesler a single (frank)ing decent line-mate over the course of almost a decade...yet somehow we are going to build an entire top 6 line in the course of 2 years lol?
"We can trade": we have no assets.
"We can draft": not if we continue on the path of selecting in the 8 to 15 range, sure we can find a gem or two, but the likelyhood of them making the pro's in the next year or two is rare to say the least.
"We can sign UFAs": When was the last time a decent UFA hit the market? At what age and cost?
It's one thing to be optimistic, it's something completely different to expect Benning to pull a rabbit out of a hat (or in this case, 3).
Hitting rock bottom is absolutely inevitable, most people understand that. |

LE was fine as a free signing IMO.
One thing everyone omits is we r not the only team at the draft.
That means shrewd trades will also be needed. |
