what in the heck happened tonight? this team looked great in the first! they had the lead in shots, 3 PP and looked like they were keeping up. speaking of the PP, why the heck dont Macky and Rants switch sides? use Macky like you would Ovechkin and just take bombs all day from the half boards and have Rants on the other side since he's more of the set up man. currently, the way its set up is Macky gets it but has zero shooting angle. if theres anytime you have people on their off wings its the powerplay and Farrish just doesnt freaking get it. how this man still has a job is beyond me.
again, Beachemin is there on the powerplay, no Zadarov with his bomb of a shot. poor Bednar has to sit and watch how this poorly constructed team for another coach and another system try and execute his design. if Sakic wants to save his job he cuts the dead weight and sticks with this core one more season and surrounds the players with actual talented ones and people that WANT to play for Beds. |
