I might be in the minority here but I would like Murray to re-sign Kulikov right after the expansion draft. Offer him a 2 year contract at the same cap hit, $4.3M. Give him a year being totally healthy and I think he would be a solid contributor on the D.

i would guess thats probably plan c. i honestly think he was no higher than plan c before the season started, there was sticker shock with the guys he was interested in, and he just kinda said "well, i dont have plans for pysyk, so if i can get a guy..."

I get it, but then youre robbing peter to pay paul and we'd be thin up front. plus, I still think he's untouchable, being murray's first ever pick and all. I think our untradeables are jack, sam ror, okposo, risto and maybe McCabe. the problem there is, who's left with any value? kane, ennis? foligno? ugh. murray better hit on one of the kids next year or it could get ugly quick. Maybe bailey or baptiste (or both) come along nicely and score 20. or maybe they are a sequal to carrier and fasching. time will tell.
