According to the Trend, we are pretty good on Tuesdays but suck on Thursdays.
However, we lost on Tuesday, so it's bizarro world, and therefore we'll win tonight, a Thursday.
Plus, the Sabres beat the Rangers last time they were here... on a Thursday.
Sabres 4, Rangers 3. |

Don't hate him, just need him to do much better! Would really like to see him step up and play a better game. |

I don't know, matty...now that kane is producing, there's always a need for a whipping boy and it seems as if bogo's next up |

disco to the boys:
C'mon guys gotta grind it out. Jack, I wanna see some jam out there! dump, chase, recover, cycle, change. Rhino- youre holding on to the puck looking to make plays again. what did I tell you about that? Defense- high, hard, and out, then wait for them to come back in. stop trying to skate and pass, that's not our game! D-lo, carrier, marcus, girgs, you're our guys. were looking to you to lead us. I will continue to look dumbfounded on the bench and (frank) up the line combos as much as possible. Now lets go get this win! |

A lot of it is his salary. If he was making McCabe money, you wouldn't hear as much. |

I know what you mean. It' a new month. I hope Bogo comes out and plays a great game tonight. That would shut down the whipping boy factor. Atleast until next game. |

If he wasn't traded for and specifically sought out as a piece of a failing rebuild, it wouldn't be a problem either. |

i'm not saying he's the second coming of denis potvin or bobby orr as someone intimated the other night, but jimeny Christmas, the whole team fell apart against montreal |

he was a secondary piece...an injured evander kane, who wouldn't be ready until the following season, was the primary piece...I've expected much more from him and he's shown some excellent speed and skill...just not enough of it |

as it did for kane as well - Michael Pachla
Big difference. Kane is actually good for the most part, just not a smart player, and it took a year and a half to find line mates he worked well with. Then the off-ice...
Bogo wasn't a good player in Winnipeg when we acquired him.

revisionist history...when kane was having off-ice troubles and not scoring he was a scourge on the team and he was the no. 1 whipping boy...people couldn't get him out of here fast enough for whatever they could get for him |

Why wouldn't he be?
He wasn't producing. He absolutely wasn't worth the headache at the time.
Then the team figured out that both he and the top 6 were better off without each other. |

As he should have been, and he's one off ice issue/injury/cold streak from that being the case again.
And we shouldn't pretend that it's not likely one of the above will happen again soon.
Hopefully it's not before we can get something decent in return for him |

An incredibly good 3rd liner, incredibly bad 1st liner.
He doesn't mesh with smart players who play a cycle game like ROR. Is way too "shoot first" to play with Eichel.
He needs to be on a North/South line like he's on now. |

good...trade him...trade bogo too...you've just created two more holes in the roster that you or somebody else would fill with a player that they know very little about outside of stats |

I consider my team better with him on the third line, which is all that matters. |
