Could I interest you in an Evander Kane, a Tyler Ennis plus prospect, or a Zemgus Giergensons plus prospect? |

Have to disagree here Ed.
Our best line has been the Silf, Kes, Cogs line. To break them up would be misguided at best. But if you're going to, then Cogs is the one to drop to the third line, imo. I think saying Silf isn't a top 6 wing is an insult to him. Of course he is. I'm not too concerned with the top 6, but it's the bottom 2 lines that need help. If you can get a top line wing, then that allows us to move someone to the bottom 6, which will make us much better going forward. I think Cogs, more so than Silf, is that player. |

I said it in my last post, and I'll echo it here: Based off this team's cap woes, the draft picks they have and the expansion draft; I think this'll be a quiet trade deadline.
Where can this team get more from? To be frank, there is more in the tank for the top line of Rakell-Getzlaf-Perry. Also, every defensemen outside of Cam Fowler has more to give offensively. At this juncture, the only players left to be "upgraded" is Kase and Shaw. That's a management decision. How much do they want to leverage? Do they think they can find a better player than Kase while still being conscientious of the future? Unlikely. The reality is Anaheim won't deal a pick from the first 3 rounds. Where does that leave them? Suggesting a Fowler trade is borderline heresy.
I'm not buying what you're selling Ed, but thanks for the abundance of articles! |

Sami is trade bait that brings the most imo - RHS / cost controlled / 2nd pairing D man / - I think Rangers / Tampa / Det / Tor / are most logical partners - |

JW, but why those partners? Besides Toronto with JVR, who would the Ducks 🦆 want from NYR TB or DET? Suprised you didn't say COL

Remind me one day to tell you about an argument I had about Gerald Wilkins of the 1986-87 Knicks. |

Tampa has abundance of forwards that they need to make decisions on - could make a deal for at least one of them / Det needs D men and have some F that could help and Rangers also have need for 2nd pairing D man and have some F that would look good in orange - |

Disagree about Silfverberg, a 20 goal, 20 assist guy with great 2 way awareness.
He is a top 6 forward. |

I realize that I should clarify on my take on Jakob Silfverberg. I don't think he is a top six player on a championship contending caliber team. |

You shouldn't mess with the Kes-Boss line. They have been playing too well and the team's most consistent line. Shutting down the other top lines while contributing offensively? Don't break them up.
If you do trade Fowler or Vatanen for a winger (don't think it happens / Bob might get a depth guy or two), I would say you would have to make the lines:
Ritchie or New LW / Getz / Perry
Cogs / Kesler / Silf
Ritchie or New LW / Rakell / Kase
Thompson / Vermette / Shaw
Cram
Lindholm / Manson
Fowler or Vats / Holzer
Theodore / Bieksa
I think Rakell and Kase could be good together. Kase just needs a little more consistency plus playing with defensive specialist Vermette hasn't been helping his offensive production.

He's literally exactly the type of winger contending teams would love in their top-6. His all around game makes him that perfect glue player in a top-6 role. Unless you are just looking at points, which is entirely misguided, then I'm not sure what you are expecting.

or Kreider or Hayes. I don't see it happening. Stoner for Grabner might work. |

If Bargain Bob can pull a rabbit out of his hat, great. I just don't want another buyer's remorse deal. *cough* Wisniewski *cough* Although, Anaheim did trade a second in that deal, so who knows? |

Doesn't work cap wise for the Ducks. Also there is almost no chance Manson AND Montour get traded. |

Yeah . Colorado is the only team thats put players offically on the block . Like Toronto. They think they might make the playoffs. So they can't decide if there buyers or sellers . If they wana go to the playoffs then they keep jvr . So Colorado has everbody on there door step tring to get a top 6 foward . Because the rest of the leage can't make up there minds . Which is good for the avs. |
