I think we could fall as low as 28th in the standings (being only behind COL and Arizona). DAL+DET+WPG+CAR all have better chances, IMO, of starting to gain some traction and pull ahead of us.

DAL/DET/WPG/CAR all have horrible goaltending but CAR is the only one that has the talent to maybe make a run to pull ahead. I see us maybe 10-12OA at this point. The players do not want to lose and I don't see Benning selling enough to help us to crash and in this draft, there's no drop off past the 3OA to like 20-25OA or so.

DET is pretty lousy, but Andreas and Larkin are keeping them a float. I agree that all of the teams mentioned above have horrible goal tending, and the Canucks have had good goal tending but have had mediocre everything else. That will all change when we flip Miller at TDL for a pick and play Garteig and Demko in Utica and bring up Bachman

It's not really a pass when you're all jumbled up with the same point totals now is it? JB is going to further weaken this team (temporarily) at the deadline moving NHL calibre players out for picks. Nah these guys fought the good fight but they are staying down at this point.
