How do you figure? Johnson and Beauchemin both have NMCs, and I don't think they'll protect Zadorov over Barrie. I would say it's close to 80% chance of getting exposed.
My point was we really didn't give up much, if all 4 have a "more than likely" chance of being exposed. - Mentalorgasm5
Do they have 7F worth protecting over Zads? I severely doubt he's exposed |

Questionable if they have 7, but I would say they have 6, and two of those would be exposed if they protect 4 d. |

Hypothetically, what if a team gave ALL of its core players NMCs before the expansion draft? Is that a loophole around exposing players? |

I would think the exposing of a certain amount of players is mandatory and a NMC would be negated if hypothetically, every player had one.
But this would be circumvention at least.

They would need to sign other players that fit the requirements of the expansion draft. |

....Yikes.
A Vince Young vs. Johnny Manziel training camp could get ESPN to Saskatchewan, though. |

Listen, I hate the Patriots and I love the Bills more than I love the Sabres for some reason...
But this rhetoric is getting really old. If the shoe was on the other foot, every Bills fan would be lining up to slob Tom Brady's knob and if it were us doing supposedly dubious things and winning championships, we'd all be on here singing the gospel about it just like them.
This sore loser poop is getting old.
Pats are THE modern Dynasty. Plain and simple. In all sports. 7 appearances in 16 seasons and 5 wins across that time span with 11 appearances in the AFC Championship game within that same time span.
The only teams that come close are Miami Heat: 4 straight appearances, 2 wins
Chicago Blackhawks: 3 championships in 6 years
San Fransisco Giants: 3 World Series titles in 5 years
It's hard to even make the playoffs every season, let alone show the level of consistency these teams have. |

Agreed...my hatred for New England has subsided a little bit with the realization that the Bills have been terrible during this whole era. It would be one thing if New England was the team that constantly kept the Bills from taking the next step, but it's not the case. The Bills are the ones that have kept themselves from taking the next step. |

This.
Also, if the Patriots were constantly cheating, as every single non-patriots fan seems to imply, they'd have at least 7 Super Bowl wins right now, probably more.
Oh god, the footballs were deflated.
Guess what? Each team uses their own footballs and a deflated football to the extent they supposedly were, is equivalent to a kicker softening the ball up before kickoff in order to make it less stiff. Good lord!
Guess what also? Up until the 2000's there was no limit on this stuff, so all those championships Dan Marino and Jim Kelly won should have an asterisk next to it.
Oh wait. |

Your rant game is quite strong here, but I happen to agree with you 100%. The Patriots win because they have the gold standard under center.
However, the day #12 hangs up the cleats the party is over in Boston.

I'll never understand why Buffalonians worship Jim Kelley and company as hard as they do.
Oh great, they are in the HoF.
They never did poop-all for us as sports fans at the end of the day.
You should have seen all the comments on Facebook for Jim Kelly's birthday just the other day. I wanted to puke. |

Only if Belichick hangs them up with him. Hands down the greatest coach of all-time.
I don't want to hear anything about Cleveland. That organization manages to be more of a mess than the Bills and still have more playoff appearances in the past 20 years.
