That's because this is the first year they're really knowing what that's like. |

Thoughts on Rattie on waivers. Good added forward depth with no cost |
|
|
|
All for landeskog but D is priority right now so unless Barrie is in that packaged no dice.
Also I doubt a team will want maatta right now. If they are going to trade him it's off-season.
Fleury is the only trade bait pens have and if he isn't willing to waive his nmc/ntc then pens can't do anything - nh4442
Fleury isn't trade bait. He has really limited value. He's about creating cap space. |

I just feel like we as Pens' fans have to accept the Fleury trade:
1) Likely not happening this season
2) Is not going to get a return that makes fans happy
3) Isn't even a given - buyout is a reality
Moving Fleury is a necessity, not a strength move. |

I was there last night. Place was rocking. These team dont like each other. Great CBJ win - Bluejackets76
glad to see fans catching on and the team doing well. it really did seem like a great atmosphere watching it on tv. obviously i hope the pens (frank)ing stomp them in the playoffs but i always like to see teams excelling as franchises where they've traditionally struggled.
when people always say oh no hockey will never succeed there, its hard to really no for sure when there's no product being put out thats worth paying for. i understand that some places can sell a barn no matter what, and those are truly special places. but for places that dont have such embedded tradition, its gonna take a few seasons to get people really on board. then those can be the fans that establish the history that lasts through thick and thin |

give it time. they really havent had much to celebrate. its exciting forming a rivalry with another team. it means youre getting relevant. team is young. good management seems to be in place. close proximity. exciting games. natural hate between players.

To be fair, the highlight of this franchise was pushing the guins to six games in the 1st round. I guess they gotta be thankful for each success, no matter how big or small |

Yeah, i remember when the Pens won 15 games their first few seasons.
They were the laughing stock of the NHL. They came into the NHL in 67 and didn't win till the 1990's.They went broke and the NHL felt sorry and bailed them out.
They almost lost the team before Crosby.
Forgot your roots butt head. |

Well umm we also won 4 cups. 2 in the 90's, one was pretty recent and I can still taste the last one so I don't know what your trying to say. No one wants to discuss the last 50 yrs of hockey on a message board so lets just keep it to the last 10.....I checked were a lot better than you. |

Penguins fans have 4 cups to reminisce about, while the Columbus Blue Jackets have a good regular season once in a blue moon to talk about?
