Tough loss last night. One minute of possession in OT and not one shot. Sometimes the boys look for the perfect pass/play when all they need to do is shot the dang puck. Looking forward to the team being healthy. Oh and for Washington to have a few "lost games" due to injury bug. |

A healthy Pens squad beats that Cbus team pretty easily IMO. Bob might "Halak" us though. He's great right now.
Hornqvist needs to be back on Sids line. |

Maatta, Sprong, Fehr and DP (or a 2nd) for Landeskog. Do it JR. |

Pease! No moving Sprong!
I just have this feeling Sprong is going to be a monster. Under the old "where offense goes to die" system that MJ had in place, he just did not put him in a position to succeed, but he was still so noticeable every time he was on the ice. He reminds me of Kovalchuk. NOT SAYING HE WILL BE AS GOOD! He just moved like him. |

All for landeskog but D is priority right now so unless Barrie is in that packaged no dice.
Also I doubt a team will want maatta right now. If they are going to trade him it's off-season.
Fleury is the only trade bait pens have and if he isn't willing to waive his nmc/ntc then pens can't do anything |

It's going to be an exciting 1st round matchup. Hey, I'll make some excuses. Not having major players like Sheary and Schultz in the lineup is a difference-maker |

Not at all really. Schultz is on pace for 60 points and big driver of offense and Sheary is one of the top 5v5 players. Sheary was also on pace for 30 goals before his injury. |

Schultz numbers career year. Not the norm...Conor Sheary? Well i dont even need to comment on that |
|
|
|
All im saying is if are using the argument that missing Sheary and Schultz cost u guys the game. |

Who cares if it's not the norm? It's happening and he's a big part of the Pens' puzzle this year.
Sheary? You clearly don't know ANYTHING about him, but I don't blame you since you probably don't watch them too much. |

I didn't say they cost the Pens game, but not having them in the lineup is a difference-maker. |

Scott Hartnell didnt play either. Its called depth |
|
|

I'd like to thank the refs for gifting the Pens a point they didn't earn and screwing Bjorkstrand out of a goal. At least the good guys won.

You really don't get hockey, do you?
Missing two of your starting dmen plus one of your best forwards means nothing? Ooook.
You're clearly not one of the more knowledgable CBJ fans, so buh bye. |

Hey... remember that year the Jackets went to the Stanley cu... oh wait.
Remember that year the Jackets were in the Conference fin... oh wait.
Remember that year the Jackets were so good in the second rou... oh wait.
Remember that year the Pens knocked out the Jackets? Oh yeah, I do.
It's gotta be hard to know you're not as good of a team if you have to savor one little win. Enjoy it while it lasts. |
