Loving our D prospects right now too. Not really any blue chip guys, but a lot of really strong prospects. Bear has played lights out all year. Caleb Jones had a highlight reel goal the other day. Reinhart turning into anything, even if just being used as a trade chip would be big for us. Benning was a great pickup. High hopes for that kid.

I think it was Oilersnation a couple weeks back had an article about Reinhart and how much his skating and lateral movement had improved.

Again though, those Oil Kings teams were amazing in how much they screwed a lot of NHL teams at the draft. Reinhart, Samuelsson, Lazar...none of them has cracked it big.

Really. How many players cant score in the KHL but light it up in the NHL?

Classic example of a great team dynamic, excellent coaching and the right system. Its possible a lot of those players peak was Major Junior.

Nope. He was with Staios for most of that run. Smith was with either Ulanov or that Swede we got from the Penguins.

Who got wood over the rest? Yak sure, he was a 1st overall and had a strong rookie campaign. Obviously people were excited. The rest I don't recall overt excitement over except Omark, and that was more just casuals who saw a couple YouTube clips.

Its your fault that you generalize. Most players drafted players do suck. there are just as many primadonnas and pussies drafted out of the WHL. OHL,Sweden, Finland and USA.
